GoTab Launches iOS Capabilities to Easily Process Payments on Operators’ Existing Hardware

Hospitality commerce platform furthers product innovation with new features including membership and subscription solutions, insufficient funds protection and more

GoTab, a leading restaurant and retail commerce and operations platform, today announced it has launched advanced iOS capabilities that enable hospitality businesses to run its flexible software on their existing hardware. Other innovations and partnerships debuted this quarter include a certified integration with R365, Memberships, Ticketing, and Subscription features as well as an enhanced solution that protects operators against losses due to insufficient funds and walkouts. With each of these developments, GoTab is further helping restaurants, breweries, food halls, hotels, and other venues significantly improve the guest experience and address the substantial inefficiencies that continue to plague the industry.

Leveraging GoTab’s new iOS payment capabilities via internet-connected Windows, iOS, Android tablet or iPhone, operators can run GoTab’s software on their existing hardware systems, including the Point-Of-Sale (POS), receipt printers, tablets, KDS systems and more - no additional equipment required. Unlike other providers that bundle their software and hardware to lock operators into high fixed costs and long-term contracts, GoTab designs its software to run on any operating system and quickly adapts to new hardware formats to remove any operational and financial burden.

In addition to the launch of GoTab’s iOS Payment Capabilities, other developments from the quarter include the rollout of Memberships and Subscriptions features, Insufficient Funds Protection and certified integration with R365.
