Hey GoTabbers,
If there’s one thing we know about hospitality, it’s that a little luck never hurts. As St. Patrick’s Day wraps up … and we trust it was an amazing one for you and your teams … we’re reminded that the real magic isn’t luck but the people, teams and systems that keep everything running smoothly when you’re slammed.
We’re feeling a bit slammed right now, but in a good way. From our operator-first mentality that has kept our pricing steady for more than two years, to new partnerships both in the US and abroad (we see you AUS!), and the momentum building into our Future of Food Halls Conference next month, we’re helping operators everywhere set themselves up for what’s next.
So whether your wrist is tired from pouring pints, running courts, or managing a packed house, we’re here for it, and for you.
Let’s get into it. 🍀
Sláinte!

Victory Pickleball is a 54,000 SF pickleball eatertainment venue in Loves Park, a northern Illinois city about 90 minutes west of Chicago with a strong local sports culture and tournament traffic that draws players from across the region. The venue itself began as an indoor tennis club some 50 years ago and transitioned into other sports over time but the key is that it was a large shell with the scale to become something much bigger.
‍
By the time Manager Josh Gowan joined the team about a year ago, they had invested heavily in the physical buildout. The club had the technology: GoTab, Court Reserve, and PourMyBev.
Today, Gowan has successfully activated the full integration across all tools, to:
“I would 100 percent recommend GoTab,” he shared. “And I would recommend the full integration. It takes time in the beginning, but once you have it implemented and you’ve trained your people on it, it all works together really, really well.”

We’ve always believed growth should be aligned with the people we serve. That’s why we’re excited to share that Mateen Habib has been promoted to Chief Growth Officer. Mateen is deeply operator-focused, has an operator background, and has been a driving force behind many of the decisions that define GoTab today, including our commitment to operator-first pricing.
At a time when many platforms have steadily increased fees, Mateen has been a key advocate for holding the line. We haven’t raised our prices in more than two years.
Beyond pricing, Mateen has played a critical role in building our partner ecosystem and expanding how we support operators across breweries, food halls, and experience-driven venues. His leadership ensures that as we grow, we stay grounded in what matters most: helping operators succeed.
Because our growth can't come at your expense. Our growth is a result of your success.

‍
Across hospitality, we’re seeing a shift. The venues that win are building destinations where people can connect and plug in to the cultures, communities and experiences they love. The point for operators is that your tech, your community and your operations need to be integrated. No awkward handoffs or ball dropping allowed (pardon the pun).
‍
In our Behind the Tab episode with Ashley Owens, recorded just after the announcement of their $54M investment round, we explored what separates resilient clubs from the rest, especially in markets that experience rapid growth followed by normalization.
The operators who thrive are the ones who design for the long term. They invest in systems that scale, experiences that build loyalty, and models that adapt as demand changes.

It’s been quite the experience watching our Australia team smash it on all things big and small.
Next week they’re sponsoring the Technical Symposium at High Country Hop for the very first time. Hosted by Bridge Road Brewers in beautiful Beechworth, Victoria, this annual gathering brings together brewers, hop growers, suppliers, and hospitality pros for a few days of learning, collaboration, and great beer.
GoTab will be joining BetterHospo and Residency Studios to present “Brands, Data & Venue Intelligence.” They will be digging into how integrated venue technology can help breweries elevate the guest experience, unlock better data visibility, and make smarter operational decisions.
Oh, and if you haven’t clocked it yet, they’re live and running the show at https://gotab.com.au.
Too right! They’ve got their own site now, so you know they’re the real deal.
Couldn’t be prouder of the Aussie team!

With our CourtReserve integration with GoTab, operators can connect court bookings directly to the guest experience—bringing scheduling, payments, and on-site ordering into one unified flow.
Players can reserve courts, check in, and keep the experience going with easy food and beverage ordering, all without friction.
The result? Smoother operations, better visibility across your venue, and more opportunities to drive revenue while guests stay focused on the game.
Curious to see how it works? Watch the Integration Demo today.

"When someone walks in here, the experience has to feel easy. They should be able to check in, grab a beer, order food and get to their court without feeling like they’re jumping between three different systems.” — Josh Gowan, Victory Pickleball

We’re entering a moment where hospitality is becoming more dynamic than ever.  Food halls. Eatertainment. Hybrid venues. Global expansion.
We’re grateful to be building alongside you.
We hope to see many of you in Minneapolis!
