Patch Retention

Connect Patch Retention to GoTab’s pickleball club POS or family entertainment center POS and turn every identified tab into the next visit. Identified guests, their settled purchases and your menu flow into Patch, so you can send targeted SMS and email and automate the follow-up after the tab closes.
Patch is an AI-native retention and marketing platform built for entertainment venues, attractions and clubs. More than 2,000 businesses use Patch to bring guests back, fill slow days and turn visits into repeat revenue.
Operators describe what they want in plain language, and Patch’s AI builds the audience, writes the email and text, and sets up the automation for them to review and launch. Two-way AI conversations over SMS, email and web chat answer guest questions and point them to the next booking. Patch also includes a CRM for group and event sales, reviews and reputation management, loyalty, forms and analytics.
At pickleball clubs and family entertainment centers, food and beverage is where guests linger and spend. But that guest and order history usually stays in the point of sale, while marketing gets built by hand from spreadsheets and guesswork. GoTab and Patch now work together to close that gap, so the guests you already served become the guests you bring back.
Know Your Guests, Not Just Your Tabs: Every identified tab builds a guest profile with spend, favorite items and last visit.
Marketing That Runs Itself: Order-triggered SMS and email journeys go out automatically after the tab settles.
Target by What People Buy: Promote a new seasonal menu to guests who ordered similar items, or reward your top spenders.
Win Back Lapsed Guests: Automatically reach anyone who hasn’t ordered in 30, 60 or 90 days.
No Double Work: Connect with your GoTab login, with no API keys to copy. Data refreshes automatically, and GoTab stays your system of record.
Contacts from identified tab owners (name, email, phone and location), settled orders with line items and totals (excluding tips), refunds on the same tab, and your product and menu catalog.
In Patch, go to Settings, then GoTab, and click Connect GoTab. Sign in with your GoTab manager login and choose the locations to share. A Patch onboarding specialist maps each location and starts the first sync during a 15-minute call.
In real time. Guests and settled orders arrive as they happen, with a periodic backfill that catches anything missed. The sync runs one way, and GoTab remains the system of record.
No. Only tabs with an identified owner, meaning a guest who left an email or phone number, create a contact in Patch. Anonymous or shared tabs without contact details don’t sync. GoTab mobile ordering and tab-start are the easiest ways to capture guest details.
No. GoTab’s order-ready texts are not marketing consent. Patch collects and manages SMS and email opt-in, and journeys can start with a consent request.
Yes. Each GoTab venue maps to its own Patch location.
Court bookings, memberships, check-ins, reservations and waivers aren’t part of the GoTab connection. Patch handles those through its own booking integrations, such as ROLLER and CourtReserve, so both data sets can live in Patch.
For QR ordering, RFID, kiosks, open tabs and the rest of GoTab’s platform, see our pickleball club POS and family entertainment center POS pages.
You need an active Patch account, a GoTab manager login for the locations you want to connect, and guests who leave an email or phone number on their tab. Talk to your Patch rep, reach out to cody.harris@patchretention.com, or book a GoTab demo below.
