Del Ray’s All-Day Beer Garden is Now Open

Shout out to Charlie’s on the Avenue for their honorable mention of GoTab contactless ordering and payment in Washingtonian Magazine.

Chef/co-owner Justus Frank and his partner Jeremy Barber have debuted The Garden. It is a 100-seat outdoor all-day beer garden, bar and restaurant that opened in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood.

Service is from a counter, or patrons can order and pay for food and drinks on their phones using GoTab. (It doesn’t require an app, just simply scan a code at your table and a server will run the food out.)

Barber says he first saw the technology at Caboose Brewing and thought it was great for the neighborhood.
